Calling All 2012 College of Family and Consumer Sciences Alumni Award Nominations

Each year, the Family and Consumer Sciences Alumni Association at the University of Georgia recognizes alumni, faculty, staff and friends who have made significant contributions to the Alumni Association, the College, the profession and/or society in general. As an alumni and friend of College of Family and Consumer Sciences, you are invited to nominate outstanding individuals (including yourself) or organizations for the Family and Consumer Sciences Alumni Association's Awards, which will be presented at the Association's Awards Lunch held each spring.

Deadline for Nominations is October 1, 2011

I would like to nominate the following person for the:

Distinguished Alumni Award - Presented to a College of Family and Consumer Sciences graduate who has made life-long contributions that sustain the beliefs and values of Family and Consumer Sciences.

Creswell Award - Named for the first dean of the College, recognizes a current or retired faculty or staff member who has provided leadership in motivating and guiding students. Please email a letter of support for your nomination to Susan Byus.

College of Family and Consumer Sciences Appreciation Award - Given to an individual, other than a College alumni or faculty, who has contributed to the support of College of Family and Consumer Sciences either significantly, financially, programmatically, or legislatively. Please email a letter of support for your nomination to Susan Byus.

Outstanding Service Award - Presented to a graduate for continued involvement in his/her community, faith community, helping organizations, the College or the Alumni Association.

Pacesetter Award - Given to an individual who graduated from the College within the past 10 years and actively promotes the beliefs and values of family and consumer sciences.

Emily Quinn Pou Professional Achievement Award - Presented to a graduate who has attained substantial achievements and is in the midpoint of her/his career.
