Research:
Latino couples and families, communication and conflict resolution, and the intersections of race, class, gender, and sexuality

Outreach:
Couple and Family Therapy, service grants with extension agents at UGA, needs assessment grants related to poverty law and Latino parenting

Teaching:
Introduction to MFT, Clinical Practicum in MFT, Couple and Sex Therapy, Family Intervention, and Race, Class, Gender, and Sexuality (Women Studies)

Interests:
My research program focuses on strength-based approaches to research and service for marginalized populations. Currently, I am focusing on the relational well-being of Latino couples and families living in poverty. I am an Affiliate Member of the Institute for Women's Studies, Interdisciplinary Qualitative Studies Certificate Faculty, and serve on the Latino Advisory Board at UGA.
