The mission of the Human Development and Family Science Association at the University of Georgia is to promote educational, professional, and social opportunities among students interested in the development of individuals and families through all stages of life. Members of the association attend informational meetings, seminars, and talks on developmental issues and career oriented topics. These students will also be involved in group projects and activities along with volunteer service projects in the community. In the past, these projects have included adopt-a-grandparent, canned food drives and sponsoring needy families in the area.
All Human Development and Family Science undergraduates are welcome to become members of the CFDA. There is a one-time fee of $10.00 for each new member of the CFDA. Applications to join the CFDA can be found in the here or at the Human Development and Family Science departmental office. For additional information regarding the CFDA, please contact Dr. Melissa Landers-Potts .
