Determining the Most Economical Mode of Transportation

State of Georgia travel regulations require that faculty and staff must determine the most cost effective form of transportation.  The three options are: 1) personal vehicle, 2) UGA motorpool, 3) Enterprise Rental Car for in-state travel. Listed below are links to the rates:

Frequently Traveled Location Comparison

Enterprise provides a cost comparison tool using your personal care and a rental car at the link given above. Please print the results and save for audit purposes. If it is determined that the most economical and advantageous mode of travel is car rental  then you must either claim mileage of .285 per mile or have a good justification for why you didn’t use the rental car.
