If your printer has an LCD display, it will tell you where the printer jam is, but regardless of that, turn off your printer, and pull out the paper tray and look there, open the front, back, top doors of the printer and look for the jam.
If you still can't see it, take out the printer toner cartridge (if it has one) and see if the paper is under the cartridge. Be careful not to touch the innards of the printer as some of them are *HOT*.
Also, do NOT blow into the printer toner cartridge cavity to clear out the toner dust.
