How do I find the MAC (aka Ethernet) Address on an OS X machine?

Open System Preferences and click on the "Network" icon.

Choose "Automatic" for Location, and "Built-in Ethernet" for Show. Click on "Ethernet" tab. You should see the following screen. The Ethernet ID is your Ethernet, or MAC, address.
