NDS (Novell Directory Services) , now called eDirectory, allows you to access a variety of network resources.

A Directory Service contains information about users, servers, workstations, organizations, etc.

On the UGA Campus, your MyID login gives you access to those network resources provided by EITS. From a PC you will have a mapped U: drive with 50Megs of disk space when you login to MyID.

FACS has their own resources available only to our faculty, staff, and graduate students. When our users login to the FACS organizational unit, they have various shared network drives, including their M: drive which gives them 500Megs of disk space.
