Why can't I connect to computer using Remote Desktop Connection?

First, verify that your computer is setup so that it can be accessed from another computer:

1. Right click on My Computer and select Properties from the drop down menu
   
   
   
2. Click on the Remote tab and check the box next to Allow users to connect remotely to this computer
   

If this does not solve the issue, please contact computer services as there may be a problem with your firewall or a specific setting on your computer.
