  1. Open your PowerPoint presentation that contains your Response questions and select View → Slideshow.
  2. A pop-up message will appear saying, “We have detected that this presentation contains Response questions.  Do you want to activate the Response Session now?”  Click the Yes button.
  3. In the next pop-up message, you may opt to change the event name or leave it as the default (course name, date, and time).   Select the class that you want to collect responses from using the drop down menu.
  4. Your PowerPoint should run normally now.  Students will need to turn on their clickers scan for the class.  (If they have not already done so, they should enter their Student ID, or “810”, number before joining the class.  See Setting Up Student Clickers.)
  5. When you get to a slide the contains a Response question, it will have the Interwrite logo at the bottom left hand side of the screen and the control bar will appear at the top.  To start the time, click the green arrow (looks like a play button).
  6. Once you have finished your presentation, select “End the Class” option from the pop-up menu.  Your data will be saved to your Class Roster.
