Giving Levels
The
UGA Partners Program began in 1999 by President Michael Adams in an
effort to reward donors who give not only to the area of their choice
at UGA, but to the unrestricted funds of UGA. To become a UGA Partner,
a donor gives $1000 minimum to the UGA President's Venture Fund (unrestricted)
and $1500 minimum to the area(s) of their choice at UGA. For example:
Bob and Martha give $5000 total to UGA in 2001. They designated $1000
for the Presidents Venture Fund to be used as needed by President Adams.
With the $4000 remaining, they choose to give $3,000 to the College
of Family and Consumer Sciences and $1000 to the UGA State Botanical
Garden of Georgia. Should they choose to become a UGA Partner in 2002
they would need to make another $2500 minimum gift to UGA, with $1000
being unrestricted. Benefits of being a UGA Partner? You are invited
to a formal dinner at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta hosted by President
Adams, special events on campus such as speakers and pre-game activities.
You are also a Presidents Club member and extended those privileges.
