Dr. Haltiwanger Endows International Study Award

Dr. Earl Haltiwanger of Sandy Springs, Georgia had endowed an International Study Award in the College of Family and Consumer Sciences in honor of his wife, Anne Montgomery Haltiwanger. Dr. Haltiwanger surprised his wife at the 2003 FACS Alumni Awards Luncheon with the gift which honored their 10th wedding anniversary. This award will provide students an opportunity to receive a stipend to be used for FACS-approved study abroad experiences. Anne M. Haltiwanger earned her BSHE degree in Child & Family Development in 1967 and her masters degree in 1969. She is the daughter of Leolene Chapman Montgomery, an Honor Hall of Recognition inductee and FACS alumna.
