Talking With Your Child and The Parenting Game are DTT interactive CD-ROM programs to help parents learn ways to successfully guide their children, especially those with difficult-to-manage behavior, mental health problems, or social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities.

Use Talking With Your Child to learn how to help children and teens make more responsible choices in challenging situations, and reduce misbehavior such as:

  • Shouting
  • Throwing tantrums
  • Arguing
  • Losing control
  • Becoming aggressive
  • Defiance
  • Withdrawing

The program illustrates six steps for parents with video examples and adaptations for older and younger children. Case scenarios are provided for interactive practice. Available in Spanish.
