Dr. Amy Miskimon Goss from the University of Alabama at Birmingham will present today's seminar, titled "Diet Quality and Healthy Aging: the Effects of Macronutrient Manipulation on Metabolic Health and Physical Function in Older Adults with Obesity.”
Dr. Goss is an assistant professor in the Department of Nutrition Sciences. She specializes in medical research image analysis for assessment of body composition and adipose tissue distribution. Her research interests are related to obesity and energy metabolism, with an emphasis on glucose metabolism, type 2 diabetes risk and aging.
