FDN Seminar: Vitamin K, dyslipidemia, and diabetes risk

 

FDN alumnus Dr. Norman Pollock is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Physiology, and Graduate Studies at the Medical College of Georgia, Georgia Prevention Institute.

His presentation is titled, “Vitamin K to Slow Progression of Dyslipidemia and Diabetes Risk.”

His work was recently recognized in the Augusta Chronicle for a clinical trial that is testing the effectiveness of vitamin K supplements on cholesterol and diabetes. Dr. Pollock's study includes adults and normal weight children ages 8 to 17 years. For the full article, visit this link.
