Teacher Training Workshop

Be prepared to teach financial literacy to your students! The Georgia Performance Standards for Economic Understandings go into effect in Fall of 2007 for 7th-12th grade and in Fall 2008 for K-6th grade. (download them here). This training revolves around the six personal finance standards for 9th-12th grade.

Our two-day workshop will equip you with the knowledge, materials and lesson plans you'll need to help your students learn about rational decision making, banks and financial institutions, credit reporting, insurance and more.

Workshops are taught by County Extension Agents trained in financial literacy.
