Reaching Georgia's Latino clientele via the Cooperative Extension Service - Veracruz Program

This program was designed in an effort to decrease the language and cultural barriers presented by the Latino population in Georgia. Two Georgia FACS County Extension Agents will participate in this Spanish language learning experience by completing a Spanish language class and then taking a two week educational tour of Veracruz, Mexico. Because Georgia has the fourth fastest growing Latino population in the United States, it is very important that communication and resources be available to them through their county Extension Office.
