Why do you choose to be involved as a FACS Ambassador?

I love the strong sense of community and the nurturing environment in FACS. Giving back to the college through my involvement as a FACS Ambassador feels like a good way to say thank you for the wonderful college experience that FACS provides its students.

What is your favorite UGA tradition?

Waiting to walk under the Arch until after graduation.  The anticipation that builds over 4 years (or more) of not being able to walk under it will make graduation day that much sweeter.

What advice would you give to a student thinking about changing their major to FACS?

Do your research on Bulletin so you know which classes you would have to take and what kinds of jobs students from that major have gotten after graduation.  It would also help to talk to students and/or professors in that department since they will be able to answer any other questions you might have.  If the major seems like a good fit for you, switch!  You can’t go wrong being in FACS!
