Why did you choose your major?

Growing up, I always had a flair for entrepreneurship and fashion. I was absolutely thrilled when I learned that I could essentially combine those two passions into a future career. After learning about Fashion Merchandising and the opportunities within the field, the UGA Fashion Merchandising program was a true no-brainer.

What do you like most about FACS?

For the past four years, Dawson Hall and the incredibly supportive community within it have been my constant. I love the way FACS can make a large university like UGA feel so small and familiar. Entering Dawson for the first time Fall of 2012 truly felt like I was being welcomed into a new home. It is so true that everyone in FACS treats you like you are family, and I hope that I have been able to pass that sentiment forward to incoming and current students, our incredible faculty, and alumni.

What are your post-graduation plans?

I am traveling to Ghana, West Africa to participate in the Ghana Community Trade Program through the TMI Department. I am currently seeking a full-time Merchandising position.
