The Georgia Initiative for Community Housing is a partnership of the University of Georgia Housing and Demographics Research Center, the Georgia Department of Community Affairs and the Georgia Municipal Association. The Initiative offers communities in Georgia a three-year program of collaboration and technical assistance in addressing their housing needs. Major sponsors of this program are the Georgia Power Company, USDA Rural Development, the Wachovia Foundation, and AGL Resources Foundation. Additional support is provided by Georgia EMC and the UGA Archway Partnership Program. More information about the program.
