You have two options for your scoring needs:
-
The scoring machine available in Dawson 201
- Requires an initial appointment for training.
- You score the forms.
- Ability to weigh answers differently within one test.
If you would like to use the ScanTron machine in our computer lab to grade your tests, please
go to our ScanTron form page to order forms or request an appointment to
take a ScanTron tutorial. Graduate students can access the ScanTron machine 24 hours a
day, as long as they have been previously trained in its proper use.
- Testing Services (located at Clarke Howell Hall)
- No knowledge of scanning equipment is required (someone else does the scanning for you).
- Scoring is done without an appointment and the tests are scored and ready for pick up the next day.
- All finals have same day service (appointments are required for final exams).
- Cannot assign different weights to answers within a single test.
If you choose to use this service, you will need to pick up test scoring forms from the Testing
Services office at Clark Howell Hall (Note: the forms located in Computer Services will not
work with the equipment in Testing Services). When submitting the forms for scoring, you may
bring a diskette to get scoring results provided in electronic format. For more information, please contact Testing Services
directly at 542-3183.
