Housing Buying, Owning, Renting Manufactured Housing Education

 

The University of Georgia's College of Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) offers education to consumers on manufactured housing. Our College of Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Educators and Agents can help you learn all about manufactured housing and how to be a savvy manufactured housing consumer.

Three-Part Curriculum

• Part One (background information) gives consumers and agents a comprehensive look at manufactured housing
• Part Two (PowerPoints with script/notes) gives agents the tools needed to deliver a successful manufactured housing education program
• Part Three (checklists and factsheet) gives consumers and agents resources to be used during manufactured housing education program. Materials are also meant to be used by the consumer before, during, and after the purchase of manufactured housing
