Take a look at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) newest MOLD resource: "Introduction to Mold and Mold Remediation for Environmental and Public Health Professionals." This is an interactive learning tool available from the EPA website: http://www.epa.gov/mold/moldcourse/index.html.
Per the EPA website: The Mold Course has nine chapters; these chapters are further divided into smaller lessons. At the end of each chapter there is a voluntary quiz to test your understanding of the material covered. Each chapter may be accessed at any point in the course using the menu on the left side of the page.
The course is lengthy; however, you can stop and later resume the course at any time. This new, fun resource should interest you in the upcoming summer months.
Workforce Housing in Georgia
The Workforce Housing in Georgia report released by the Center in September of 2001 is being frequently cited. Requests for copies has exhausted the available printed supply. National Association of Home Builders
UGA has a student chapter of the National Association of Home Builders! It is called NAHB and was chartered in 1999 at UGA. Dues for UGA/NAHB for the academic year are $15.00. Please make check payable to UGA/NAHB and give to Dr. Andy Carswell, or bring to room 205 Dawson Hall.
