The withdrawal deadline is Monday, March 20, at 11:59 p.m. Remember it is best to discuss a course withdrawal with your professor and your advisor before making the final decision. If you choose to withdraw from a course, log onto Athena to do so.
Holds on your record may prevent you from withdrawing. You can look up holds in Athena and contact the corresponding office to resolve the issue and clear the hold. If the hold is cleared the day of the deadline and you experience difficulty withdrawing, contact the Office of the Registrar immediately. Students can contact the Office of the Registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org or by going to the office in person and presenting a photo ID. No assistance will be provided to students who do not make contact with the Registrar’s Office by 12:00 p.m. the day after the withdrawal deadline.
This is a friendly reminder that Monday, March 20 is the deadline for undergraduate students to apply for Spring graduation and have their names appear in the Spring Commencement Program using the graduation application available in Athena.
Undergraduate students applying to graduate for Summer will have their names in the Spring Commencement Program as well if they apply by this deadline. Candidates applying for Summer by the graduation application deadline for Spring/Summer are eligible to participate in the Spring undergraduate commencement ceremony in May. If you have a FERPA restriction you will not appear in the program.
Detailed instructions on how to apply to graduate can be found here: Graduation Application Instructions
