FDN assistant professor Caree Cotwright presented at last month's TEDxUGA event on her vision of bringing nutrition to fruition through the creative arts.
In the past three decades, rates of obesity have skyrocketed and current data shows that at least 1 in every 5 adults is obese. There is a war on wellness, and Dr. Caree Cotwright has dedicated her life to winning it. As a registered dietitian and professor in the Department of Foods and Nutrition, she aims to use fun in the fight against obesity.
