FACS Extension Agent Sylvia Davis taught young students in Camilla how germs spread and how proper hand-washing can prevent the spread of infectious diseases and foodborne illnesses through a demonstration of the “Wash Your Paws, Georgia!” program, created by foods and nutrition professor and Extension specialist Judy Harrison.
Several faculty and staff from the department of foods and nutrition were recognized by ESP.
