FACS financial planning students Meghan Hogan and Audrey Mitchell both received $5,000 scholarships from the TD Ameritrade NextGen RIA Scholarships and Grants program.
TD Ameritrade Institutional awards $5,000 scholarships every year to 12 students pursuing a career in financial planning.
Hogan and Mitchell, along with the 10 other scholarship recipients, celebrated their accomplishments in New York City in July, where they were invited to tour the Financial District and visit Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square. They also got to meet TD Ameritrade CEO Tim Hockey.
