Dr. Amy Laura Arnold is an Assistant Research Scientist within the Department of Human Development and Family Science at the University of Georgia.  Dr. Arnold received her M.S. degree in Family Studies from the University of Kentucky in 2008 and her Ph.D. in Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia in 2011.  In addition to collaborating with teams of researchers, Dr. Arnold examines multiple facets of families, including: parent-adolescent relationships, intimate relationships, families in the context of communities, and determinants of affluent parents’ perceived parental competence.
