As Wellness Coordinator for the Northeast Georgia Area Agency on Aging, I coordinate implementation of two evidence-based programs, Stanford University's Chronic Disease Self-Management Program and MaineHealth's A Matter of Balance fall prevention program. I also am co-developing an online training program for community professionals to assist older adults in applying for SNAP benefits, specifically utilizing the Standard Medical Expense Deduction (SMED) waiver. Finally, I serve as MPH Advisor in the Department of Health Policy and Management and currently teach HPAM 3600 Introduction to Health Policy.
