Student Opportunities Student Association of Family and Consumer Sciences

 

The Student Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (SAFCS) is a professional organization for students from all majors within the College of Family and Consumer Sciences. Student Association of Family and Consumer Sciences student members includes membership on the local, state - Georgia Association of Family and Consumer Sciences and the national - American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences level. As members of SAFCS, students can develop professional skills through organizational meetings, activities, and interact with students from other department within the College of Family and Consumer Sciences. At the state level, students can attend meetings of the Georgia Association of Family and Consumer Sciences and at the national level the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences. SAFCS helps students broaden their horizons through leadership opportunities, community service and interaction with some of the top professionals in their areas of study.
