Interests:
My primary research interests comprise international retailing and cultural analysis of consumer shopping behavior within various retail venues. I have investigated cross-national differences of retailing approaches and consumer behavior in China, Taiwan, South Korea and the United States. I also have studied cultural influences of Hispanic consumers' shopping behavior in the U.S. comparing with White-Americans and other ethnic groups. In addition, I conducted research on advertising and promotional techniques used in the current retail markets, such as analysis of retail store environment and service quality aspects of the company and advertisements on fashion magazines. In line with international scope of my research theme, my research interests also have expanded into emerging retailing and consumer market trends such as young adults' online shopping behaviors, environmentally friendly and socially responsible consumption and business practices, and so on.
