with interdependence is the most common culture
o Georgia Latinos are primarily first generation versus California with
third and fourth generation Latinos.
o Programs must address culture and traditions from a trusted community
person.
o Peer educators and lay health workers are effective.
o Demonstrations are also effective
o Use true family stories not celebrities.
