Peer Nutrition Educators

* Gain practical experience in nutrition education early in your education

* Enhance your knowledge & communication skills by working with professionals
   providing nutrition programs to your peers

* The PNE program is an option for practicum credit

* The summer training curriculum is taught by RD's from University Health Center and
   Food Services, includes such topics as:

                        Planning Programs        Presentation Skills
                        Diet and Exercise          Diet and Disease Presentation
                        Vegetarian Eating          Eating Smart in Dining Halls
                        Weight Management     Eating on the Run

    Center
