Effie Antonoudi

Effie Antonoudi serves as an instructor and program coordinator in the Department of Financial Planning, Housing and Consumer Economics and an academic advisor in the Student Success and Advising Center. She is responsible for teaching consumer economics and financial planning courses and supporting advising, and program management at the UGA Griffin Campus. Effie created the FACS Greece Study Abroad Program at the University of Georgia. Students from FACS and across UGA experience the country and its cultural heritage, as well as an in-depth look at the causes and aftermath, of Greece’s recent financial crisis including the current conditions and how consumers have been impacted. Effie received a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Macedonia in Greece, an M.B.A. and M.P.A. from Georgia State University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in personal financial planning at Kansas State University. Effie is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has over 10 years of experience in business – in financial consulting, marketing, accounting, auditing and, most recently, international tax consulting. She has also worked with the Executive MBA Program at Georgia State University. Effie joined the University of Georgia in January 2016.

During her career, she taught, coached teachers, and was assistant principal in middle schools in Hart and Clarke Counties. In 2004, she was named teacher of the year for Hart County Schools. Anna organized and conducted professional learning for teachers at regional educational agencies and supported new teachers and school improvement initiatives for Atlanta Public Schools. She concluded her career as a regional principal to six facilities with the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice. Ashley Dobbs

Secretary 

Ashley Dobbs serves as the Assistant Director for Residence Education and Staff Development in University Housing at Georgia State University. In her role she oversees a first-year residential area, the Residential Curriculum, and all recruitment, selection, training and hiring processes for student and graduate staff in the department. Angela Dulaney

Skye Estroff is the owner of Skye Estroff LLC, a company built to forge relationships through food. She works in tv and radio, while helping clients with social media and marketing. Skye is an Atlanta native, a University of Georgia grad and an expert in Atlanta’s best food.

Directly after college, Skye worked for Atlanta Eats and maintained roles in sales, marketing and social media. During this time, she began working on camera and appearing with restaurants on “Atlanta Plugged In” on CBS46 each week. Skye hosted the Athens, GA episode of “Dish Worth the Drive” and was featured in several “Public Affairs on Peach” specials.

Following Atlanta Eats, Skye took on a new role as Marketing and Media Manager for Taste of Atlanta in 2016. She managed all marketing partnerships, planned all social media and blog content for all of the festival’s events, and became extremely detail oriented. While at Taste of Atlanta, she co-hosted the segment, “Talk Food to Me with Skye Estroff” on Star 94.1’s morning show and received her RYT 200 yoga teaching certification.

In 2019, Skye decided to go out on her own and launch Skye Estroff LLC. As her own boss, she is able help a range of clients with social media and marketing while creating the space to continue hosting. She is a regular contributor on “Fox 5 Good Day Atlanta” where she Skypes-in and talks through Atlanta’s food trends. Skye also hosts “The Georgia Foodcast” podcast by Georgia Organics and hosts and Executive Produces, "Foodie Road Trip", a traveling food show that features the best small town restaurants in America.

Nancy Hyte

Nancy Purcell Hyte received her FACS Bachelor's degree in 1973 followed by her Master's in Education in 1975. Since graduation, Nancy has been an educator in post-secondary, secondary, middle, elementary and preschool. During her career she has spent time working for a variety of education institutions, including The Art Institute of Atlanta, Cobb County Extension, Cobb County School System, and Douglas County School System. She has volunteered her time with the Cobb County Drug Education Program, the Cherokee Garden Club, the Chattahoochee Organization for Rehab & Training, and more. Regina Kramer

After thirty-two years in education, Regina is enjoying retirement. She began teaching with Fulton County Schools in 1984 as a Home Economics teacher and left Fulton County Schools in 2015 as a second-grade teacher. During her tenure, she was named Teacher of the Year twice - in 1996 at Crabapple Elementary School and in 2010 at Summit Hill Elementary School. She was also named Who’s Who Among America’s Greatest Teachers in 2006.

Regina loved working with children in her classroom, but she also enjoyed working with her colleagues on committees. Some of these included: the “Dream Team” for developing elementary math curriculum for Fulton County Schools, a Task Force for “at-Risk” Middle-Grade Students, Local School Advisory Councils, and even presenting Interdisciplinary Curriculum (language arts and science) to teachers at the Georgia State Middle School Conference. She also served on the selection committee for the hiring of a new assistant principal.

Regina currently lives in Alpharetta with her husband, Richard, where she enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her three adult children, their spouses and her five adorable grandchildren. She also remains in contact with many of her former students enjoying hearing about their life achievements and celebrations.

Tracy L. Walls, Ed.D. is a champion for education, passionate education leader, community advocate, and education specialist. From her celebrated conversations with educational and community leaders to her grass-roots trench work to inspire the next generation of youth: Dr. Walls continues to be a trailblazing educator standing on the shoulders of giants.  Dr. Walls was born in Nashville, TN and is an active member of the UGA Alumni Association, UGA Women’s Basketball Program, and UGA student athlete association. 

After graduating from high school, she was honored and fortunate to receive a full athletic women’s basketball scholarship to the University of Georgia.  During this time, her team reached the pinnacle of success in women’s basketball history as a National Championship Runner Up (1996), two-time Final Four NCAA Participate (1996, 1995), we well as crowned the Southeastern Champion (1996). In addition, Dr. Walls was recognized for her community outreach and leadership ability by being selected to serve as a member of LEADERSHIP UGA, Student-Athlete Representative to the SEC Headquarters, Child and Family Development Club Secretary, Peach of an Athlete Award Georgia Tip-Off Club, and a host of other accolades.  Most notably, because of her academic accomplishments, community engagement and outreach, integrity, and scholarship as a model student-athlete, Dr. Walls was selected by Dean Nichols as the Grand Marshal for the 1992 college graduation ceremony carrying the flag for the College of Family and Consumer Sciences.

After graduation from the University of Georgia, Dr. Walls completed a fellowship with Vanderbilt Peabody College, obtained her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership, received an Educational Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership with an add-on endorsement in Special Education Teacher License, Early Childhood Education, and Principalship. Dr. Walls has over 17 years of administrative and collegiate level teaching and leadership experience. Brooke is now a licensed attorney in the state of Georgia and practices at the law firm of Smith, Welch, Webb & White. Using her background in Human Development and Family Sciences, Brooke’s law practice is focused on family law, personal injury, and general civil litigation. In her free time, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband, Garrett, coaching the high school mock trial team, and serving as a mentor for future leaders.
