The Undergraduate Internship in Couple and Family Therapy is open to UGA undergraduate students looking for an amazing opportunity to dive deeper into learning about the world of mental health and a career in couple and family therapy. The year-long experience will prepare students for therapy-related graduate training programs through exposure to foundational knowledge and basic counseling skills, engaging in self-discovery, role-plays, & exploration practices, assisting with clinical outreach programming centered on well-being, and participation in a clinical practicum where live therapy and the supervision process can be observed.
