Why did you choose your major?

I will never forget Freshmen Orientation at UGA. I remember walking into the Major Fair and seeing one specific booth that had a sign on the front of the table that read, “Do you want to be a family law attorney?” Since the age of ten, I have had a passion for the law and, in particular, for family law being a child of divorce. When I saw this sign, I knew this college was just right for me. For those reasons, I chose Human Development and Family Sciences as my major with an intent in Pre-Law because of the relationship it has with family law policy.

What do you like most about FACS?

I love that FACS has such a warm and welcoming environment. Whenever you walk into the school, everybody always has a smile on their faces and a willingness to help others.

What are your post-graduation plans?

I have been accepted to The University of Georgia School of Law and plan to attend this Fall 2016 and pursue a J.D. Degree.
