Why do you choose to be involved as a FACS Ambassador?

I chose to be a FACS Ambassadors because I want to spread the word about the existence of our small but wonderful college to the rest of campus. I want to be a leader and resource for FACS.

What advice would you give to a student thinking about changing their major to FACS?

FACS has so much to offer from a variety of majors to a place you can call home on campus. The professors and staff care so much about students and it can be felt the moment you walk through Dawson’s doors. Changing my major to FACS was one of the best decisions I have made in college.

Best advice for a 1st year student? Transfer student?

Don’t be afraid. It’s okay if you are worried about your major, future career, making friends, and adjusting to college life in general. There are resources on campus that can help you make decisions as well as other students who are going through or have been through what you are experiencing now. Reach out to people.
