Why did you decide to pursue a degree in financial planning at the University of Georgia?
I began as a finance major and found it far too impersonal. After making the switch to become a secondary education major, I realized that I do enjoy the field of business, but would like to merge it with my passion for working with people.
What is your favorite class and why?
My favorite class thus far was ECON 2106. I enjoy understanding the relationships between small decisions and larger effects.
What are your plans post-graduation? How do you think your degree in financial planning will help you to achieve those goals?
I have three potential future plans:
I plan to either enter the financial services industry and later on pursue an MBA, or to attend law school and enter the estate planning and small business law field, or to attend graduate school for a MAT in order to pursue a career in public education
