I began working with Extension in 2001. My husband is an Ag Agent in Cook County. My hometown is Pavo, Ga.

What originally attracted you to Extension work and what would you say is the best part of the job?

The best part of my job is having the opportunity to help people of all ages live longer, happier, healthier lives.

Can you tell us about any role models or inspirations you might have?

A retired FACS Agent in Thomas County, Rebecca Moore, is the reason I looked at Extension for a career. She was an amazing role model for Family and Consumer Sciences programming with impeccable character and work ethic.

What has been your proudest moment as an Extension agent?

Serving as the National Vice President for Awards and Recognition for NEAFCS, 2013-2015

What are some of your hobbies or favorite activities outside of work?

I love to spend time with family and friends, go fishing, and visit the mountains.
