Why I chose my major:

I am very outgoing and I love being around people. I wanted to study something that has to do with people and families and I was thrilled to discover that FACS has the exciting major of Human Development and Family Science. I love this major because I can relate my studies in everyday life problems and, with that, help other people learn about families and people.

What I like most about FACS:

First of all, FACS is THE place. This is where all the cool kids are. When I walk into Dawson I feel great. Staff and professors are always there to help and make me feel at home. FACS is a student-centered college and a place where I feel appreciated and encouraged at all times. FACS made my UGA experience better and I am very proud to be a FACS graduate.

Post-graduation plans:

I am starting my master’s degree in sports administration at Georgia State University this fall, where I will continue my education and work with varsity athletes myself.
