The Department of International Student Life and World Ambassadors are hosting their first International Coffee Hour of the year. This event occurs every Friday from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm in the Memorial Hall Ballroom.
As of August 14th, the Career Center is back on the second floor of the newly renovated Clark Howell Hall. Come check out the new space and have your resume checked out while you’re at it! The Career Center holds walk-in hours Monday through Friday from 12-2 PM. If you’d like to meet specifically with the FACS Career Consultant, Brittany Smith, she works walk-in hours on Wednesdays. You can also catch her in the Dawson Hall main lobby from 10:30-12:30 on Tuesdays!

The College of Family and Consumer Sciences has several scholarship opportunities available for FACS undergraduate and graduate students to consider. Scholarship applications open November 1st, 2017 and the application deadline is March 28th, 2018.
North of the Arch aims to introduce new students to the many things that downtown Athens has to offer during the day. This event is a partnership between the UGA Office of Government Relations and the Downtown Development Authority.

Bulldog Basics is a collaborative effort led by the Student Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (SAFCS) and supported by FACS and Embark UGA. A variety of personal hygiene items are available for students to access as needed. Bulldog Basics is funded by a UGA Sustainability Grant awarded fall 2016 and by a UGA Parents and Families Leadership Council Grant, awarded in spring 2017. Item donations are accepted in the Student Success and Advising Center (112 Dawson Hall).

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
