SGA wants to hear from you!
Be The Match at UGA is hosting a registry drive on January 18th from 4pm-6pm, downtown at The Place.
All UGA students and Clarke County residents between the ages of 18-44, and in general good health, are invited to learn how you could potentially save a stranger’s life in the fight against cancer.
You can take the first step in the new year to SAVE A LIFE - by joining the Be The Match Marrow Donor Registry, between 4 pm and 6pm on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at The Place, located at 229 E Broad Street!
Joining the registry is FREE, PAINLESS, NON-INTRUSIVE, and only takes about 15 minutes.

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is opening the application process for its student internship program for the 2017-2018 academic year! This is a paid position open to all current UGA undergraduate students graduating May 2018 or later.
The deadline for the electronic application is Friday, February 10th by 4pm. All interested students are encouraged to attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, January 25th, at 5:00 p.m. in Terrell Hall (2nd floor in the Presentation Hall).

Every child deserves to feel special, which is why we collaborate with organizations like Camp Twin Lakes to offer children and their families the experience of camp. Our camps give children the opportunity to have fun, meet others with similar conditions, and build confidence. All camps are held at an adaptive campsite in Winder, GA called Camp Will-A-Way.
We are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and responsible counselors to help volunteer for a week of camp. (Must be 19 years old to apply). We are also looking for RN’s, PT’s, and OT’s as counselors. Mandatory training at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta - Tullie Circle on April 8th, 2017.
Join ServeUGA for Athens-Clarke County MLK Day of Service on January 16th, 2017! ServeUGA is providing transportation for UGA students to one of the MLK Day of Service sites. We will be participating in a highway beautification project. Check-in will begin at 7:30am in Tate Student Center Room 135. We will depart campus at approximately 8:10am and join the city at the MLK Day kick-off at Thomas Lay Park. Following the kick-off, we will transport volunteers to our service site. Volunteering will take place between 9:30am-1pm. We will return to campus by 1:30pm.

100 Days Until Graduation is a two-day celebration that serves as a one-stop-shop for all graduation needs. Seniors should not miss this celebration – it is the only time this semester that all of these resources will be in one place for you!
7. Upcoming Event: Spring Education Aboard Fair
Wednesday, January 18, Noon-5pm in Tate Atrium
UGA offers Maymester, Summer, Semester and Academic Year study abroad opportunities. You can go abroad and receive credit for your major, minor, elective, or core classes. Go to the fair to learn about different study abroad programs, meet UGA students who have studied abroad, and talk with faculty directors and program representatives.
