I am conducting my master's research under the direction of Dr. Ginnefer Cox, a sensory evaluation and product development specialist. As her graduate research assistant, I help to facilitate sensory science research with an emphasis on ingredient reduction (sodium, fat, sugar) and utilizing functional ingredients and value-added foods.

Current Research

My current research is evaluating the use of the hedonic scale in sensory testing, specifically in the evaluation of food products, using a child population.

During the spring 2018 semester, I will be the teaching assistant for FDNS 4650, Experimental Study of Food, taught by Dr. Ginnefer Cox.

For the fall 2017 semester, I was the teaching assistant for FDNS 4645, Natue of Food, and FDNS 4646, Food Choices and the Consumer, taught by Dr. Ginnefer Cox.
