Audrey Kernodle is a 2018 alumna of Columbus High School where she graduated in the top 10% of her senior class. She graduated with honors (magna cum laude) from The University of Georgia with Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning. During her time at UGA, Audrey was an active member in the Student Financial Planning Association and represented UGA in the AFCPE Knowledge Bowl and FPA Challenge. Audrey also volunteered as a tax preparer with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program which provides no-cost tax filing and financial coaching services. She also volunteered as a financial counselor with the ASPIRE Clinic providing no-cost financial advice and counseling to members of the Athens, Georgia community. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Behavioral Financial Planning at the University of Georgia while serving as a financial counselor and educator for students in the College of Pharmacy and the College of Veterinary Medicine. In this role, Audrey provides one-on-one financial counsleing sessions to students and provides large group presentation to promote financial literacy and reduce financial stress.
Audrey’s dedication to the financial planning industry is rooted in her passion for helping and empowering others. She hopes to gain experience through developing relationships and serving others by making a meaningful and invariably positive impact on each person she meets. She puts her people-first attitude and financial planning skills into action when enabling clients with the knowledge and guidance needed to achieve their financial goals.
In her free time, she enjoys fishing, kayaking, hiking, and traveling. When she's not enjoying the great outdoors, she loves cooking and baking for her friends and family.
