Cultural studies of dress and the body, niche supply chain networks, the business of social media. 

More interests: textile science, historic dress, trend forecasting, consumer behavior, and sustainability's relationship with these topics.

Current Research

My current research analyzes maternity swimwear within a post-feminist consumer culture and global economy. It seeks to understand this material item as an actor within the lives of pregnant individuals and affects on psychological/physiological well-being that might result from use.
