Job Description

I am a recent University of Georgia graduate from the College of Public Health and am interested in health education on a wide variety of topics in order to better the health of the public. Currently, I am a Radon Educator working to increase the awareness and knowledge of the health problems that can be caused by elevated levels of Radon in the home. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer and I work to help address this problem. I believe educating the public on what Radon is, how it can affect your health, how to test for it, and how to alleviate the problem can help to reduce the cases of Radon-induced lung cancer.

Outside of work, I thoroughly enjoy traveling, concerts, sporting events, and reading, especially when I can combine them. I have attended many Major League and National Soccer games across the country and loved getting to explore each new place while cheering on some of my favorite teams. The University of Georgia has been a part of my life for many years now, including growing up as a Georgia fan and attending both undergradute and graduate school here. I am very excited to now work at UGA and to spread the word about Radon.
