Job Description

As the Program Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator for the Heathly Marriage and Relationship (HMRE) Project, I work in coordination with our Program Coordinators and Directors to develop and maintain community partnerhips to successfully implement HMRE services by attending community partner meetings and promoting community awareness of HMRE services.

My professional experiences include hospital social work, providing mental health and support services to at-risk youth in a residential treatment facility, and recruitment and engagement for Project F.R.E.E. for two years. My intern experience includes St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, GA where I participated in day-to-day activities of a clinical coordinator as part of an interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, physical/occupational therapy staff, managed a case load of patients and coordinated discharge plans and connection to community resources; Elks Aidmore, Inc. in Conyers, GA during my first year of the program where I facilitated intake evaluations for new residents, managed a case load of 6 – 8 residents, organized weekly psychoeducation/psychotherapy groups, and coordinated therapeutic and behavioral services for residents. Following my internship, I served as direct care staff and Interim Service Coordinator and Interim Education Coordinator with Elks Aidmore, Inc.
