Job Description

I am the Project Coordinator for the Healthy Marriage and Relationship Education (HMRE) Project. 

As the HMRE Project Coordinator, I will be  facilitating program services and campus-community partnership efforts and communications, coordinating trainings and technical assistance activities,supervising program staff, and monitoring program services in addition to other duties assigned.

Prior to by current position with UGA, my experience was with the Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS). I served for over ten years in the capacity of a Resource Development Case Manager, Social Services Supervisor, Monitoring Specialist, and a Practice Model Consultant for Solution Based Casework. I bring to our team an adept knowledge in assessment skills and family focused interventions. My on-the-job experience has given me a well-rounded skill set, including organizational and prioritization abilities. I assist staff in developing their skills through training and/or over-the-shoulder support; promote awareness of programs/services within the communities being served; and evaluate and address consumer needs and concerns. I completed my undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Social Work from Georgia Regents University and my graduate degree from The University of Georgia in Social Work.
