Prospective Graduate Students

Because of the multi-disciplinary nature of our research, we welcome graduate students from the fields of Human Development & Family Science, Neuroscience, and Psychology. If you are interested in joining our lab as a graduate student, please contact our lab coordinator at zehua.cui@uga.edu. Following are the links to apply for the HDFS or Neuroscience (Integrated Life Sciences) programs at UGA.

Undergraduate Research

Our lab welcomes undergraduates from many different majors, including Psychology, Biology, HDFS, and pre-Med/pre-Nursing. Working in YDI allows for extensive experience with multiple types of data (behavioral, questionnaire, physiological, neurological) as well as exposure to every step of the data process: recruitment, collection, cleaning, and analysis. We offer class credit, CURO assistantships, and volunteer hours. If you are interested, please download the application and syllabus, and send to our lab coordinator at zehua.cui@uga.edu.

Participate in our Research

We are currently recruiting children ages 12-14 and their caregiver(s) to participate in a longitudinal research study. Participation in the study includes completing questionnaires and an MRI brain scan of the child, as well as compensation of up to $200. If you are interested in participation, please see our flyer (attached here) and email us at bulldogfamilystudy@gmail.com to receive more information or to be scheduled for a visit.
