We Make It Happen: Mutual Aid as a Call to Action
The symposium will feature Tim Vogt and Jan Goings from Starfire Council, Cincinnati. Other presenters will include multiple Georgians, both young and seasoned, who have made important impacts in our state. This event is free but you must register. There are two ways to attend: in person and virtually. See below for details.

Parking Information:
Free parking is available in several lots surrounding the church:
- Hull Street Parking Lot: A parking lot is located directly behind the church along Hull Street.
- Hancock Avenue Parking Lots: The top three parking lots off Hancock Avenue are designated for church and event parking.
- Street Parking: Additional parking may be available along surrounding streets.
- Designated accessible parking spaces are available on the Hancock Avenue side of the building and behind the church along Hull Street.
- If all lots are full, then proceed to Washington Street Parking Deck. Parking is available for $2.00 per hour, with the first hour free.
Please pay close attention to all posted parking signs. We are unable to validate or reimburse parking fees for this event.
Catering:
Lunch will be provided by Masters Table and will be served buffet-style. Information about food allergies and dietary considerations will be provided for each dish. Menu is below.

Scholarship opportunity
The Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities’ Dottie Adams Scholarship awards small grants (not to exceed $2,500) that helps individuals with disabilities and their families attend advocacy, learning events and conferences. Please note that no individual or family may receive these funds in successive years.
Applications must be received at least 30 days prior to the event (but no more than three months prior to the event) in order to be considered for approval for reimbursement of expenses.
