Join us for a series of free events where participants will meet virtually with a volunteer student financial planner under faculty supervision for a personalized, confidential financial consultation. The events are designed to help individuals and families explore their financial goals, address common financial questions, and gain practical money strategies.

What to Expect
- After booking your appointment, you’ll receive an email to confirm your appoinment that will also contain your Zoom link to enter your meeting on Wednesday, 10/22. Please check your spam folders just in case these emails are screened out!
- At your scheduled appointment time on Wednesday October 22nd, use the Zoom link from your registration email to log in. You'll be added to a breakout room to meet with one or more student financial planners for about 1 hour to discuss your financial goals.

What to Expect
- After booking your appointment, you’ll receive two different emails: 1) an automatic confirmation email from Bookings for your appointment time, and 2) an email from a Love and Money Center Pro-bono Day Coordinator containing the Zoom link you’ll use to log in for the appointment, as well as some brief paperwork to complete beforehand. The Coordinator can assist with questions prior to your appointment, too.

You'll meet with one or more student financial planners for about 30 minutes. Conversations will be mostly focused on the topic you choose when you register (e.g., budgeting, debt management, credit, insurance).

Each appointment is scheduled for 1 hour.
- Who will I meet with?
We’ll match you with a student financial planner who will be prepared to discuss your financial situation, and set goals. You’ll meet with them virtually via Zoom.
- What can we discuss?
For our October 22nd event, we are open to discussing most financial topics. However, please note that we are not able to provide advice on specific investments, bankruptcy, or legal matters. Guidance offered is for educational purposes only and should not be considered individualized financial, legal, or investment advice.
- Is this really free?
Yes, appointments are provided at no cost as part of our community outreach. No products will be sold, and there’s no obligation beyond showing up!
- Will my information be kept private?
Yes. All conversations are confidential.
